Some brands are adding Bakucho oil to their product and claiming it as bakuchiol, but there is a difference between bakuchiol and bakuchi oil. DO NOT fall to the trick, if a brand selling you a product with bakuchi oil, do not confuse it with Bakuchiol. Bakuchiol is a dominant extract found in the leaves and seeds of the babchi plant whereas Bakuchi oil is just a cold-pressed oil from the seeds of the babchi plant that yields thick, viscous brownish-colored oil.
